Counseling Programs

Confidential counseling has become an important aspect of our efforts.  Families today have numerous needs that can be supported through counseling.  Tri-City Life Center is a good source of information and referrals for those who have special needs.

Confidential counseling offered at no charge to clients:

• Marriage
• Individual
• Crisis
• Post-Abortion

Client Education Programs

Through attendance at parenting classes and viewing videotapes and dvds, clients are educated in aspects of pregnancy and birth, child rearing, relationships, health issues, facts about abortion, alternatives to abortion and about adoption.  Clients are also given an opportunity to attend classes and seminars provided by other family service agencies with whom we collaborate.

Tri-City Life Center has initiated a Dad's program using materials from the National Fatherhood Initiative. Dad is educated to be more aware of himself as a man, and of the significant impact he has in his family. He is taught to become more aware of the significant role he plays in the family, and the difference between “fathering and mothering”. Dad will get in touch with his moods (feelings/emotions), his capabilities, his strengths and his limitations. He receives the knowledge to be more aware of making healthy choices for his physical well-being as well as social interactions.
