Volunteering Opportunities

Tri-City Life Center could not exist without the more than 90 dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and talents in some capacity to the Center and clients. These people are often recruited through community speaking engagements. Many are friends or relatives of current volunteers. Some are clients who are interested in “giving something back” or helping others.

The Center provides classroom and on-the-job training to its volunteers, inviting some of them to take an active role in the formation and updating of the training curriculum. Tri-City Life Center also believes these selfless people are entitled to planned and spontaneous recognition. Tri-City Life Center has a yearly volunteer dinner in the spring and a volunteer family picnic in the summer. Occasionally the outstanding service of an individual is recognized in our newsletter or with the quiet presentation of a token gift.
